Ward Marshall has been developing wind farms for 35 years and has developed and acquired over 7,000 MW of wind farm projects during his career. Ward served as President of the American Wind Energy Association in 2003 and has served as President of the Wind Coalition in Texas, a non- profit association formed to encourage the development of the vast wind energy resources of the south-central United States. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
Ward was responsible for project development in North America, focusing on the origination, development, mergers, and acquisitions of large-scale renewable energy power projects. He recently led the team that is developing over 3,600 MW of wind projects in New Mexico and Wisconsin and developed over 3,100 MW of operating wind projects located in British Columbia, Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Prior to Pattern, Ward joined Babcock & Brown in 2005 through the acquisition of G3 Energy, where he was Senior Vice President of Development.
Ward has also held positions with GE Wind, as the southern regional sales manager.
